The Olympics are very important because the Olympics help people from other countries learn new sports. For example, rugby is not played in some European  countries like Turkey.  in the Olympics there are sports like rugby so the Olympics help people from other countries learn new sports. The Olympics are important because they help people learn new sports


In the 2016 Rio Olympics athletes are trying very hard to win gold. How hard you might ask? Well, athletes like Justin Gatlin and Michael Phelps  are doing things like putting on a skin tight shirt to make you swim faster. Another use of technology in the Olympics  is using speed cameras for sprinting and looking back to their best time and learning about what they did so they can repeat what they did before. And the shoes they were help them run faster because they have less weight and helps their feet  not to overheat
