Year 8 camp reveiw

Image result for camp

Three weeks ago was our year 8 leadership camp we paid $120! For two nights. Today I will inform you about my experience at camp and if it's worth every penny.

Activities. In my opinion the two best activities were go karts and the team building activity with Mr J. Reason being is because of the fast paced games and the feature of playing with others, and if you weren't playing with other people you were cheering them on as they quickly zoom past the flying fox or do laps on the go karts. Other fan favorites like paintballing and air rifles, were just not fun due to the very slow paced. The air rifles featured a huge gap between firing and waiting. Paintballing also had a huge gap between playing and waiting and the sling shots were not very accurate overall I rate the activities 3.5 out of 10

Meals. The two best meals were lunch and dinner.dessert and breakfast were very disappointing. Dessert was just not enough.and apart from porridge breakfast was pretty bad, and because everyone wanted porridge the odds of getting seconds were quite slim. I rate the meals a 7.4 out of 10

Cabins. The size of the cabins were decent. The rule was no shoes in the cabin which everyone ignored. They allowed little to no noise in the cabin. our cabin was the opposite as people tried doing accents and telling scary stories with red lights shining on there face, in the middle of the night That did not go well. The cabin was given several severe warnings. And then our whole cabin had to go outside and start running on stones for around three minutes. The cabin ran several times after that. The next morning. The other cabins told us that they had to run as well I rate the cabins a 8.0 out of 10 .

Overall I rate this camp a 7 out of 10 but there is lots for room improvement
