Winter Learning Journey W1:D3 (BONUS)

In the first ever olympics women were not allowed to compete or watch the games until 1900
This was not a fair rule because women should have the right to compete in the olympics as some of the world's greatest athletes are women such as Lydia Ko and Valire Adams

  1. Hi David,

I completely agree with you! I definitely think that women should be allowed to participate in the Olympic games. In fact, some of my favourite Olympic sports are actually 'women only' activities. One of my absolute favourite sports is called 'synchronised swimming.' Have you ever heard of it?

It's a really tricky sport that involves women working together as a team to perform a dance under water. If you get the chance I would highly recommend watching the event when the Rio Olympics happen next month.

    Cheers, Rachel
